ORGANIZATIONAL THEMATIC AREAS

Climate Change Mitigation

We are also spearheading a transformative tree planting program across communities and schools in Northern Malawi to counteract the adverse effects of climate change. By mobilizing local students, educators, and community members, we are not only restoring native tree species that help sequester carbon dioxide but also enhancing biodiversity and soil fertility.

This initiative creates a living classroom for environmental education, empowering the next generation with practical skills and an appreciation for sustainable land management practices.

Through these collaborative efforts, Legacy Development Initiative is fostering community resilience, improving local ecosystems, and paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future.
